A 12-year resident of Countryside, Alderman John Von Drasek was elected Ward 2 Alderman in April 2005 and is also on the License and Water committees for the City.  Married 18 years to wife Kathy, a Diagnostic Sonographer at a local hospital, the Von Draseks have six children.  A graduate of Lyons Township High School, Alderman Von Drasek is the owner and founder of Von Drasek Roofing Inc., having been self-employed for the last 17 years. 

John likes to spend time with his family and looks forward to helping the City of Countryside and all the residents of Ward 2. He promises to vote and be a voice for all residents.
