COMMITTEE – ALD. SMETANA, CHAIRMAN

A. Recommendation
to refer Section 10-6A-2 Special Uses to the Plan Commission to allow
all service, office & retail businesses not listed as permitted or
special uses to be treated as Special Uses when not specifically listed
under permitted uses.
B. Recommendation
to amend parking requirements for accessible parking (Section 1106.l.1
and 1106.l.2
C. Recommendation
to refer Sec.10-7A-2 Permitted Uses and 10-7A-3 Special Uses to the
Plan Commission for review permitting any allowable use in B-3 zoning
district as a Special Use in the M-1 zoning district.
E. Recommendation
to create ordinance prohibiting driving over curbs, sidewalks or unpaved
parkways.
F. Consideration
of pursuing a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) – sidewalk ramps.

D. Recommendation
to auction six seized vehicles in a sealed bid offering on January 26,
2007 at 12 noon.

ATTORNEY/LEGAL REPORT
A. Plan/ZBA
recommendation to consider amendments to portions of the code regarding
accessory buildings, specifically sections 10-2-9 and 10-5F-8.)
B. Plan/ZBA
recommendation to consider amendments to portions of the code regarding
adult uses in the M-1or M-2 zoning district specifically deleting such
from permitted uses in 10-7A-2 and including them as special uses in
10-7A-3.
C. Draft ordinance
to update all classes on the number of liquor licenses currently
assigned.

ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT
A. Approval of
payment of sick pay funds previously accumulated by Sue Wilson, former
Recreation Director - $49,018.11.
B. Recommendation
to approve the 2007 annual contribution to the Intergovernmental Risk
Management Agency - $180,976.
C. Resolution for
Improvement for the 2007 MFT Street & Alley Rehabilitation project -
$420,000.
