B. STATEMENT OF BILLS – ending January 24, 2007:  $148,949.86.

C. Application for a general business license from SAVE OUR SLEEP, INC., 9727 W. 58th St..  Type:  Home Office.  Applicant:  Betsy Finn.

D. Application for a general business license from NOVEON, 5401 Dansher Road.  Type:  Manufacturing.  Applicant:  Donald Bogus.  (formerly Carroll Scientific)

E. SUBSCRIPTION:  HOPE HEALTH Newsletter – All Departments – Cost:  $604.92.

F. FINANCIAL STATEMENT for the period ending December 31, 2006.(previously distributed).

A. Reappointment of one year term for Martin Sweeney to the Flagg Creek Golf Course Administrative Board.

C.  Presentation of Awards to: Officer Steve Muszynski – Valor Award; Officer Joseph DiGangi – Life Saving Award; Officer Ernie Millsap – Merit Award.

VII. CITY CLERK’S REPORT

A. Recommendation to attend the IIMC Conference in New Orleans, LA for Clerk and Deputy from May 22-26, 2006.  Estimated expenses: $1,900 ea.

HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE – ALD. PONDELICEK, CHAIRMAN

A. Disciplinary action of Finance Director.

I. Rescinding the City Council Policy #19 and the accompanying resolution 01-03-R, establishing economic benefits for non-bargaining unit sworn personnel.

POLICE COMMITTEE – ALD. CONRAD, CHAIRMAN

B. ICMA-RC Vantage Care Discussion – (Kelly Bush)

C. Motion to terminate present Information Technology contract with CTC and approve contract with ISI.

D. Recommendation to purchase a ’07 Crown Vic with trade in for $18,762.33 from Westfield Ford.

E. Recommendation to purchase a ’07 Ford Expedition with trade in for $19,325 from Westfield Ford.

F. Recommendation to purchase 2 digital in-car video system for $11,040.

G. Approval to purchase IT Server for Records Management System.  Cost to be taken out of Federal Forfeiture Fund - $8,873.

H. Recommendation to implement a red light photo enforcement system.

FINANCE COMMITTEE – TREASURER STOFFELS, CHAIRMAN

J. DONATION requests:

1. Helping Hand sponsorship to fundraiser - $1500

2.Southwest Suburban Center on Aging - $3500

3. Illinois Issues requesting support - $100

HOTEL/MOTEL COMMITTEE – ALD. MICHALCZYK, CHAIRMAN

K. Consideration of remaining with the Heritage Tourism Bureau. (resolution required)

L. Expense paid from Hotel funds -  $17,000 for Concerts in the Park, from Great Events.

M. Renewal of Enterpriz Cook County membership - $500.

X. CITY ATTORNEY/LEGAL REPORT

A.  Plan/ZBA recommendation on zoning variation to Sec.10-6A-1 to permit outdoor display and sales at 5345 and 5349 La Grange Road.  Applicant:  C/K Sanders.

B. Plan/ZBA recommendation on zoning variation to Sec. 10-5C-5 permitting a 20’ front yard setback instead of the required 30’ setback at 40 E. Plainfield Road.  Applicant:  A. Pervan.

C. Consideration of draft ordinance updating business license code for occupations licensed by the state.

XI. ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT

A. Seeking approval to attend the ILCMA Winter Conference in Peoria, IL February 21-23, 2006.  Estimated expenses:  $300.

B. Review and recommendation re: Cummins NPower for emergency generator - $247,948.
