OMNIBUS AGENDA: All items on the Omnibus Agenda are considered to be routine in nature by the City Council and will be enacted in one motion.  There will not be separate discussion of these items unless a Council member so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Omnibus and considered separately.

A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: April 11, 2007.

B. STATEMENT OF BILLS – ending April 25 2007:  $361,501.28

C. Application for a special use from Greater Chicago Productions to hold an Antique Postcard Show @ Local 150, May 4-5, and November 9-10, 2007.

A. Requesting motion to acknowledge that executive session minutes have been reviewed and recommend that no change for the release of executive session minutes occur for this six-month period.

FINANCE COMMITTEE – TREASURER STOFFELS, CHAIRMAN

A. FYI:  Appropriation Budget to be listed on the May 9, 2007 agenda for approval.

WATER COMMITTEE – ALDERMAN STRAZA, CHAIRMAN

B. Approval of Engineer’s invoice – Water Rate Analysis - $19,014.

HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE – ALDERMAN PONDELICEK, CHAIRMAN

C. Recommendation to hire William Hayes to fill a new position as Code Enforcement Officer I.

POLICE COMMITTEE – ALDERMAN CONRAD, CHAIRMAN

D. Recommendation to replace the DEA officer’s vehicle with a ’07 Ford Explorer - $20,185 after trade in from narcotics fund.

HOTEL/MOTEL COMMITTEE – ALDERMAN MICHALCZYK, CHAIRMAN

E. Recommendation of financial support to the I/M Canal Rendezvous event – A River Thru History, Sept. 29-30, 10-4 pm.

F. Consideration of sponsoring an ad for the WCMC annual Dinner, May 4, 2007.

G. Consideration of sponsoring an ad and attending the WSCC 07 Community Awards Dinner on May 23 @ Wm. Tell.

H. Recommendation to participate in the WSCC 2007 Community Guide ad.

I. Consideration of participating in the ’07 Hispanic Heritage Organization’s Calendar of Events ad book, Sept. 7.

RECREATION COMMITTEE – ALDERMAN CONRAD, CHAIRMAN

J. Consider acceptance of Park Condition Study and Analysis by FGM Architects and recommendation for implementation.

X. CITY ATTORNEY/LEGAL REPORT

A. Plan/ZBA recommendation to consider a special use to Sec. 10-6A-2 to allow a financial institution at 90 Countryside Plaza.  CitiFinancial.

XI. CITY ADMINISTRATOR REPORT

A. Recommendation to appoint Gail Paul as IMRF authorized agent.  (resolution)

B. Recommendation to approve  the reconciliation payment  of $12,989 to  retiree Paul Mallon as relates to the health retirement account.

C. Recommendation to approve the reconciliation payment of $8,605 to retiree Gary Schwab, as relates to the health retirement account.
