B. STATEMENT OF BILLS – period ending  September 22, 2007:  $312,990.49.

C. MEMBERSHIP:  Government Finance Officers Assn. – Finance Officer - $160.

D. From the Countryside Lions Club requesting permission to solicit at  various locations within City on Oct. 12-13, 2007

E. Application for a general business license from Simply Self Storage, 9801 W. 55^th    St.  Type:  self storage.  Applicant:  Kurt O’Brien.

F. Financial Statement for the period ending August 31, 2007.(distributed in Finance Committee packet)

A. Confirmation of appointment – Ward 3 Alderman – Sean McDermott – expiring 2009.

C. Consideration of participation in the Southwest Suburban Center on Aging Annual Luncheon on Oct. 18, at 11:30 am at the La Grange Country Club.  $25 pp.

A. Motion to approve a draft resolution to allow service credit for Military Service with IMRF.

B. Motion to approve payment to Allied Appraisal Co. for appraisal services for $5,000.

ESDA LIAISON – ALDERMAN SMETANA, CHAIRMAN

C. Recommendation to accept the Warning Siren proposal  for 5917 La Grange Road from Braniff Communications, Inc. for $17,872.

D. Recommendation to consider a Preventative Maintenance Agreement  submitted by Braniff Communications, Inc. for a siren at 67^th & Willow Springs Road for $1,400.

X. CITY ATTORNEY/LEGAL REPORT

A. Plan/ZBA recommendation on a plat of consolidation at 9737 W. 57^th St..  Applicant: Victor Caterino.

B. Plan/ZBA recommendation on a variation request to allow a front yard setback of 13ft v.25 ft at 7061 Willow Springs Road.  Applicant:  North Hampton Group.

C. Plan/ZBA recommendation on a variation request to permit a front yard setback of 0 ft v 25 ft to allow construction of an elevator tower at 6502-6504 Joliet Road.  Applicant: B. Sweis

XI. ADMINISTRATOR’S REPORT

A. Consideration of low bidder for the Ward 2 Sanitary Sewer Maintenance project. (bid opening scheduled for 9-26-07 @ 11 am)

B. FYI – Use of Parking Lot by Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital.

C. Invoice dated 5-8-07 from FGM for professional services on the conceptual police station and community center - $8,880.
