Ten Sales Tax Contributors
The City of Countryside Community Development Department recently
requested from the Illinois Department of Revenue a listing of the top
ten sales tax contributors for the community. This determination
was made on the basis of the 1% local government's share of sales tax
collected for the benefit of Countryside in the months of September 2003
through August 2004. The following businesses remitted a total of
$3,249,948.70, which was disbursed to the City during the period
of November 2003 through October 2004. Please note that the
companies listed below are in random order and not based on the order of
sales tax contributions.

Continental Nissan
Westfield Ford
