Superintendent of Public Works Bob Fullar

Bob Fullar is the Superintendent of Public Works for the City of Countryside. Bob joined the City of Countryside’s Public Works Department in November 1981 and was appointed Superintendent in May of 1985.

Within his capacity at Countryside, Mr. Fullar oversees all operations of the six programs within the Department. He is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and evaluating all activities, as well as budgeting, risk management and training for all Department personnel and operations.

Bob works with the City’s Streets and Alleys Committee on a wide array of program development activities including street resurfacing, sidewalk replacement, street lighting, park maintenance, urban forestry, and capitol equipment purchases.

Prior to joining Countryside, Bob worked as a forest products specialist and buyer of timber for a Midwest forest products company. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University in Forest Resource Management.
