he City of Countryside, located in the heart of the Chicagoland area, welcomes you to our website where you will find information about our City and all of its services. Incorporated in 1960, the City of Countryside is home to 6,000 residents and over 400 businesses.

Countryside’s strong business community and sales tax base have allowed the community to provide a full range of high quality City services without the imposition of a municipal real estate tax. Countryside is also home to an excellent parks and recreation system, an outstanding police department and fire protection district, as well as superb local schools.
