Healthy Countryside Print

Healthy Countryside aims to improve the health of the people who live, work and play in Countryside. The Healthy Countryside committee aims to bring more wellness and health prevention education, healthy lifestyle choices and social engagement opportunities to our city. Our goal: to improve the health of our community.

Did You Know?

  • Movement and exercise are good for your heart AND your brain. Every little bit counts, even 10 minutes of movement here and there as “workout snacks.”
  • 1 lap around the track at Countryside Park equals a ½ mile. Check out the park’s exercise equipment, tennis/pickleball courts, basketball court and sand volleyball nets.
  • Dogs are allowed at Countryside Park Nov. 1-March 1 and all year long on the new Brainard walking path. Get out walking with your dog for more steps!
