MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COUNTRYSIDE, ILLINOIS
HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20, 2003

Mayor LeGant called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Acting Clerk Bailey called the roll which was as follows:

PRESENT: Mayor Carl LeGant, Aldermen Robert Conrad, Wayne Straza, Michael Smetana, Edward Krzeminski, Joseph Fajdich, Karen Michalczyk

ALSO PRESENT: City Treasurer Stoffels, City Attorney Erik Peck, City Administrator Bailey, Police Chief Swanson, Attorney Nick Cetwinski

ABSENT: City Clerk Herberts

Mayor LeGant stated that the purpose of this meeting is to discuss Labor Negotiations.

Ald. Krzeminski moved, seconded by Ald. Conrad, to convene into closed session under Section 2Aa of the Open Meetings Act for the purpose of discussing Labor Negotiations. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

Mayor LeGant declared the meeting recessed at 7:36 p.m.

The Special City Council meeting returned to open session with the same members present at 9:35 p.m.

There being no further business to discuss, Ald. Smetana moved, seconded by Ald. Fajdich, to adjourn the Special Meeting. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

Mayor LeGant declared the meeting adjourned at 9:36 p.m.
