COUNCIL CHAMBERS

CALL TO ORDER & ROLL CALL.

Meeting was called to order at 5:00 p.m. Those present were: Chairman Chief Ford, Communications Director Srejma, ESDA Coordinator Norman (arrived late), Member Schwartz, and Secretary Carey. Absent was Fire Chief Doyle.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES.

The minutes of September 3, 2013 were signed and dated by Chairman Chief Ford.

REQUEST AUTHORIZATION OF EXPENDITURES.

Chief Ford requested approval for expenditures since the last E-911 Board meeting of September 3, 2013 for $57,369.54.

  1. Motion to accept expenditures from August 29, 2013 to November 26, 2013. Motion by Member Schwartz. Seconded by Communications Director Srejma. Vote taken and approved unanimously.

UPDATE ON SWCD.

The new CAD program has been installed in all of the squads. It connects to LEADS and streamlines how calls are handled. Training was done and everyone likes it. Officers are actively updating their activities and we will be able to generate electronic activity reports. The new program will eliminate some of the report redundancy. Chief Ford is now on the Technology Committee at SWCD. There have been no complaints from residents about the switch over to SWCD. There are no radio issues. Connectivity is good and we have a greater area of coverage.

2014 MEETING DATES.

A schedule of tentative meeting dates was distributed to the Board.

OTHER BUSINESS.

No other business.

ADJOURN MEETING.

There being no further business to discuss, Chief Ford moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Member Schwartz. The meeting adjourned at 5:15 PM.
