BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION
CITY OF COUNTRYSIDE
May 24, 2012
Meeting was called to order at 7:30pm. Upon roll call the following were present:
Jerry Welch, Chairman
Mark Burdett, Secretary
Mary Lou Pisone, Commissioner
Also in attendance: Sharon Peterson, Assistant City Administrator Michael Ruth, Police Chief
The minutes of the March 13, 2012 meeting were approved.
The minutes of the April 30, 2012 meeting were approved as amended.
Chairman Welch reviewed the mail and the monthly Police Department report.
The Commission reviewed the Preference Points for the Police Officer recruitment. The initial eligibility list has been posted, and the next step is to revise the list with the Preference Points added in. All of the scores thus far were verified by the Commission.
The current list expires June 19, 2012. The final list with Preference Points will be presented to the Commission for their signature at the June 12, 2012 meeting.
The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on June 12, 2012.
Chairman Welch asked for any additional business and hearing none asked for a motion to adjourn.
The meeting adjourned at 8:45pm.
