MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COUNTRYSIDE, ILLINOIS
HELD IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THURSDAY, MAY 8, 2003

Mayor LeGant called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. City Clerk Herberts called the roll which was as follows:

PRESENT: Mayor Carl LeGant, Aldermen Joseph Fajdich, Robert Conrad, Karen Michalczyk, Edward Krzeminski, Michael Smetana, Wayne Straza

ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Herberts, City Attorney Robert Peck, Police Chief Swanson, Attorney Nick Cetwinski

Mayor LeGant stated that Council will recess into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing labor negotiations. Ald. Conrad moved, seconded by Ald. Straza, to convene into closed session under Section 2Aa of the Open Meetings Act for the purpose of discussing labor negotiations. Motion carried by unanimous Roll Call vote.

Mayor LeGant declared the meeting recessed at 7: 34 p.m.

Council reconvened into Regular Session with the same members present at 8:50 p.m.

Ald. Straza stated that he will not be able to attend the June 11 Council Meeting.

There being no further business to discuss, Ald. Smetana moved, seconded by Ald. Michalczyk, to adjourn the Regular Meeting. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote.

Mayor LeGant declared the meeting adjourned at 8:52 p.m.
