The Elderly Service Officer (E.S.O.) Program is sponsored by the Illinois Attorney General’s Office and was developed to address the unique needs of the rapidly growing senior population. The E.S.O. plays an active role in preventing and investigating crimes against older adults.
Officer Agostino Alonzo and Officer April Bisignani are our Elderly Service Officers. They have been trained in the areas of:
- Investigating elder abuse and neglect
- Scams and fraud (including financial exploitation)
- Effective communication with seniors
Officers Alonzo and Bisignani work with our local senior advocacy program, Aging Care Connections, and are members of the Aging Well Countryside Community Action Team.
