The City of Countryside is located in Cook County, Illinois, northwest of Interstate 55 (Stevenson Expressway) and Interstate 294 (Tri-State Tollway) in the Chicago Metropolitan Region. Located just 15 miles from the Chicago Loop, the City of Countryside offers its residents and visitors access to Chicago while maintaining its older suburban charm. With a population of 6,420 (2020 census) Countryside is a close-knit community with many citizens being second and third generation residents of the City.
